Loaded up the car and headed to Fla for Christmas. Luggage, supplies and 4 adults. Didn't think it was too bad until I bottomed out the springs on a couple minor bumps. Anyway the car now permanently sags in the rear. Is there any easy fix? Are there different sized spring cushions that can be installed? If putting in new springs is the only answer would using SEL springs give me some more load capacity but not effect the ride?

You could do the shocks too. You may have put them in an area they weren't used to riding in and they blew.

Ken,
Take this opportunity to install Bilstein HD (heavy duty) shocks. They work exceptionally well, and are priced the same as OEM.
Regards,
Nick

I'll check the shocks this weekend. by your comments I get the impression that the springs will not take a permanent set. As long as I am back checking the shocks is there any measurements I can take to double check the springs?
