My '99 E320's right front fog light lens was cracked by pebbles so I bought a new glass replacement lens. The entire fog light is wrapped inside the front bumper. It seems that I have to take out the front bumper to replace it. That's quite a bit of work just to replace the lens. I'd appreciate any help on how to replace this lens.

You can remove the fog light from underneath the bumper. Remove the front encapsulation panel (10 screws). Dis-connect the connector from the fog light and remove the 8mm screws (2) which attach the fog light to the bumper. All this is done from the bottom. It's really very simple. With the assembly removed, just pop off the clips that hold the lens in place and install the new one. BE CAREFUL!!! If the lens is cracked it will probably fall apart when you remove the mounting clips!!! The glass is very thick and sharp!!! Good luck
