How to change fog light lens on '99 E320

My '99 E320's right front fog light lens was cracked by pebbles so I bought a new glass replacement lens. The entire fog light is wrapped inside the front bumper. It seems that I have to take out the front bumper to replace it. That's quite a bit of work just to replace the lens. I'd appreciate any help on how to replace this lens.
