Specs for 300e

Hello,

Can anyone give me the following specifications for a 1990 300e?

1) Trunk capacity in cubic feet

2) Interior volume in cubic feet

3) Front leg room in inches

4) Rear leg room in inches

Thanks in advance.

Reason I'm asking is that I am finally going to part ways with this car. There are a number of contenders for a replacement, but I'm not willing to give up the room that the 300e has. Therefore, I need the abovementioned specs.

Best Regards,

Richard

Looks like you give up front and rear hip room and a half cubic feet of trunk space and a gain some everywhere else with a Camry [flame suit on]

In my younger days, the only thing that mattered was rear seat room.

note that, inspite of the 300e having a significantly longer wheelbase (even though it has a smaller overall length), the Camry has larger front and rear legroom figures.

This is no doubt due to the long inline-6 of the 300e, mounted longitudinally.

Thanks!

Hello,

Thanks everyone, this really helps. Now I have to choose a candidate from six different cars. Here they are:

1) Passat GLX V-6

2) A 6 3.0

3) Maxima SE

4) G 35

5) Acura TSX

6) SAAB 93 ( with the 210 HP engine )

Any thoughts. They are all good cars but the Passat and G 35 are my front runners.

Best Regards,

Richard

Boy that G35 is a sweet looking car. Guess there's no history though and I haven't drove one yet...

A 6 3.0

Hi,

I agree, the A 6 is really nice, especially with that CVT tranny.
However, it is $7-8K more than any of the others. Maybe at the end of the 2003 model year, they'll be dealing.

BR,

Richard

G 35

Hi,

The G 35 is a four door, rear wheel drive Infiniti with a killer V-6 engine. It's big and it goes.

Richard

The G35 is most assuredly RWD; it's built on the new Nissan FM platform along with the gorgeous G35 coupe and the new 350Z sports car.

I'd say either the Saab or the Infiniti, whichever you prefer. The VW has too poor of reliability to consider (looked into a Passat recently), the Audi will depreciate like a lead ballon (too expensive to own), the new Maxima is too ugly to be seen in, and the new Acura is just the Euro/Japan accord priced like a 3-series BMW.

See how easy it is to make car buying decisions!

SAAB 93

Hi,

Drove the SAAB 93 ( with 210HP ) yesterday. It's really nice too. I was going 90 without even knowing it and almost got caught in a speed trap. The alert salesperson warned be just in time!

I keep leaning toward rwd though, which means Infiniti. Too bad the new E Class is so expensive. It is truly the successor to the venerable 300e.

BR,

Richard

Yes, sorry for the oversight.....they're not sold here and I'd never heard of it.

So the choice is easy now, isn't it?
