C200 ABS light problem

A friend of mine has a 95 C200, the problem he's experiencing is that when the car has been sitting in the sun for a while, when starting the car the ABS light illuminates and stays on for a few miles. When the car has been in the shade the car is fine. Strange ! Has anyone had or seen this before ?
