Third Brake Light, Need Help.....

I was cleaning up my rear window in my W124 and noticed a bunch of bugs and haze which has built up between the third brake light and the window. It's driving me crazy that I can't get in there and clean it up.

Can someone give me a step by step to remove the third brake light?
