The wood trim on all four doors of my '92 500E is loose, it vibrates and rattles when I go over bumps or turn the stereo up.
Is there a SIMPLE way to remove and reglue it? David Hendy 500E '92 60K miles |

I had the same problem. The ONLY solution is to pull the door panels, remove the 3 nuts that hold each piece, then re-tighten with perhaps some sort of thread-locking compound on them.
Sorry not to give better news, but the door panel's are easy to remove. ------------------ Best regards, Michael '92 500E '88 300TE |
