I have a 1992 500SL. The radiator had developed a hairline crack above the upper hose on the driver's side of the radiator. I am replacing the radiator today along with the upper and lower hoses, clamps and thermostat. Is there anything else that should be replaced? Or any other type of servicing done? Thanks,
JR

I always do a thermostat with any cooling system repair for insurance. Also this system can be hard to purge of air. Just spend time and pour in the coolant (Factory coolant only!!) very slowly! Just give it time and turn on the heat on high.
All new clamps are ideal as well.
