I work at a local Daewoo dealer and we have a corporate car SsangYong Rexton RX280 - basically it is Mercedes M104, but BUILT UNDER LICENSE in KOREA. Previous SsangYongs used german-made M104 engine, but later they went for a full cycle production in Korea. Which damaged the quality. It works okay, but the ECU has kinda 'korean' fuel maps. I mean it really likes to drink fuel. Korean 1.6L engines go for 12 litres per 100 km, which more than my M103 3.0 W124T, haha!!!
