Is there a special anti theft device in the old Becker Grand Prix stereo? I disconnected my stereo while working on the console yesterday and when I reconnected everything the stereo no longer plays music. It lights up normaly and tunes to stations and the tape seems to move when one is inserted, but no music. All I did was disconnect it and reconnect it. Help!!
Thanks in advance.

Hi Dave,
The early Bekers don't have anti-theft.Check the fader connection in the console. Those are notorious for comming loose when disturbed.

Randy D.

The fader switch or the two little plugs you may not have seen are unplugged.
