Thanks Steve.
Will have a competent tech (know one, at least) reset system and mixture. NOW I understand. I'm listening. thanks again. look: I'm not swimming in dough. This was evidently better than laying out the money for a new EFI injector. That money can be spent elsewhere. |

Definitely not something to spend money on. remove at least expense.
BTW, I happened to notice part of one post I didn't read. That was about your daughter going to UofF. This mornings paper claimed UofF to be the 4th largest university in the US (fall enrollment 48,850). Last weeks US News and World report put UofF in the top 50 schools in the country achedemically with private schools taking up most of the first 20 or so places. I'm proud to say I am an alumini: BS in Metallurgical Engineering 1974. (there were only 18,000 students at that time). They say the average grade point of entering freshman is somewhere around 3.8 or 3.9. Where does eveyone else go to college? My highschool GPA of 3.75 wouldn't even get me in now days.

Steve:
She's entering junior year. You're probably referring to the US News issue coming out this week. they're lke the JD Powers of academia. By default. She's doing quite well. Drives a great little '97 Corolla, which I compound & wax every return home. Good for a week until the tree sap gets it! She's an excellent student. I visit every 6 months or so (5 hours from Pembroke Pines, you know). Enjoy the long drive and the break it brings from routine. If I make some good royalties from my book (released recently), then I will visit her in Januray or February and bring the car to visit you. (So you can do your thing). Regards. Bob |
