450 Slc Hydraulic Valve Compensators Noisey

Hello again,

I have now gotten the oil pressure problem solved, 40+ lbs.

Now the ball stud hydraulic compensators for the rocker amrs are noisy. Not all the compensators are "pumped" up. Any suggestions.

Thanks,

WFS:

If you intend to keep the car, the fix would be to check the cams and rockers for wear and replace if needed, and replace the ball studs.

You might get away with increasing the pre-load on the ball studs with thicker shims.

Do a search on 'hockey puck' or 'ball stud' and you will find a lot of information on this.
