In reference to my earlier post on my '86 420SEL front end clunk.....a gentleman from the Benz Newsgroup recommends replacing the "compliance bushings" ??????
Never heard of such a thing....???? Larry, thanks for your pertinent advise (very kind of you to respond so quickly!)but, should I still be pointing a finger at the lower control arm bushing? respect your opinion and want to thank you for all your help in for this forum group! respectfully, Michael '86 420SEL business blue/gray 84K |

I sent an e-mail to you I think. Look at the idler arm bushings and the lower ball joints.
