I am considering a '72 280SEL in the LA area. It is in Simi Valley. I live in Atlanta, so do not have many contacts in that area. Can any one recommend a reputable shop to do a prepurchase inspection on this car? I will need the typical compression test, front end suspension inspection, transmission & drive line, a/c leak check and exhaust. I would prefer the type of shop where I can at least walk out there in the bay for a few minutes to look at the undercarriage and talk to the technician.
