Hi! I bought used 96 C280 about an year ago,
and whenever I am driving above the street where the street is not flat... my wheels and handle starts to turn and it's going whereever it wants to go.... I usually drive with only one hand, and sometime I feel that it's really dangerous when the handle starts to turn by itself. I believe that it's due to the road, but I also think that some parts of my car has been worn out.... what do you guys think? |

Hmmm... I think that is normal, especially for sportier cars. U can mention it to ur local Merwcedes delaer about it though. But those kind of road feed back seem to go with precision steering...

Have your steering damper checked. If you are losing directional stability and you are feeling a loss of same, either that component is shot or you have a major casualty in your steering system.
