I have just completed a complete brake job on the 500E. Fully rebuilt calipers, pads, rotors. I now experience a soft pedal. Long travel on first application and then shorter travel and firmer feel on subsequent applications of the brakes. The brakes work fine, just the long pedal travel. I have pressure bled the brakes three times and set the front wheel bearings to spec. Any other things that I am missing? Would the master cylinder from a 600 sedan push a greater volume of fluid than the 92 500E? I have upgraded to the 600SL calipers. Did the late model 500E's use a different M cylinder? Any advice will be appreciated. Lou
