My car has approx. 85000 miles on it and have been leaking hydralic fluid from the transfer case for about the last 20k. Lately it has been losing aboout a quart every 400 miles. Not good, I'm planning on having it fixed but I am wondering if the leak wherever it is, near the front I think, be repaired without the whole transfer case being replaced. The second problem which I don't know if its related is that a am starting to feel a shudder as I make sharp turns, when parking or pulling into driveways. Could this be the trnasfer case, the front diff, or someting else?

Thanks,
