Got a '92 400E with an annoying "ticking" sound when low fan speed is used on climate control. The ticking is worse when you turn right or stop suddenly. The ticking goes away when you engage the recirculate button. Something appears to be dangling on or near the fan blades.
Has anyone had this problem? I haven't a clue as to how one gets to the fan in the dash.... Your advice is appreciated. BTW..records from previous owner indicate a new blower and heat exchange install 1.2yrs ago. |
