I have a 190E that just recently started making this clicking noise like crazy from an area around the glove box. When you change the set temperature it goes away until the temperature in the car gets closer to the set temperature. I know it usually will click about once or twice every minute, lately it has been clicking like 3 times a second. Any idea?

Sounds like the feedback potientometer(blend air system) has an open spot & is not sending correct signal to A/C pushbutton.

I posted a question regarding this in my 190 2.6 last year at some point - research it - there may be some other info (I don't remember what came of it and problem appears to have self-corrected, weird as that sounds)...
