Sympton, No A/C at times after hot run, IE stop at store for five min. restart car, no A/C.
Work performed, Did compleat diagnostics as per MB book. All checked OK. Replaced, fan belt tensioner, RPM sensor at A/C compressor, high temp cut out switch, (and also diconected it), Compressor control unit. Checked and rechecked wiring. Also tried grounding low pressure switch to elimiate dash control. Car is not running hot. Any ideas? ------------------ |

Try bypassing the low pressure switch (on receiver/dryer). if compressor comes on, then you need a hit of refrigerant. Don't ground the switch leads, just connect them together.
