W124 95 E320 Headrest head rest repair fix broken - EXPLAINED with pics
Hi guys - hope this helps. Sorry it's a link to another forum, it's too early in the morning to repeat uploading of all the images
http://www.benzworld.org/forums/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=1170222&posts=7 Thanks to G-Benz for his description, which I nicked from a post (from 2003). I simply inserted his text with my pics (from yesterday) It's an easy fix - anyone can do it. All you need is a philips head / flat head screwdriver - that's it. Good luck! 71Rcode Thanks to Phil for the necessary part. |

Thanks for posting it...maybe it should be included in the D.I.Y. section since it's a common ailment among members...

OR...
If you are going cheap, I sucessfully fixed mine (which had that same plastic part broken) with a small hose clamp, and so far it has held on for six months with no further problems. Good writeup, though.
