Have a problem with the recline function on the passenger seat. The seat failed in the fully reclined position. Prior to this the seat would move in the recline direction only. All other seat functions work fine.If you place your ear up to the seat and operate the switch you can hear a faint tic.

Sounds like perhaps the switch...try removing the small adjustment knobs and spraying a small amount of WD-40 into the holes...If the seat then works, you've bought yourself about 6 months-1 year before it quits again.
Good luck! ------------------ Best regards, Michael '92 500E, Almandine Red, 17x8.5" AMG Sport rims '88 300TE, Arctic White, 16x7.5" Mille Miglia E420/430 replica rims [This message has been edited by Michael (edited 09-06-2000).] |
