I could not imagine even crooked places charging that much for an oil change. As stated, there must have been other work done, such as a 60k miles service. This involves much more than simply changing the oil and the price would be in line with that.

False alarm guys........ 60K mile service...She thought that was only an oil change... I set her straight.

So if she got an oil change, transmission and differential service, spark plugs, air filter, air pump filter and fuel filter then maybe I could see $600. Still, the idea that a dealer charges $80/hour and up for what is still essentially a mechanic's service is rediculous.

I told my wife that if something happened to me to buy a Toyota or a Honda where you can get walk-in oil changes for $35.
