Thumbs down c280 check engine light

If anyone can help I would appreciate it. I have a 1997 C280. The check engine light has come on. It runs fine unless you really step on accelerator and then it bogs down and runs very rough. After engine is off for 10-15 minutes it is back to normal. If on the highway at high speed and then go through toll it happens all the time. I had autozone read the codes and it came back as cylinders 2 & 6 have misfired. Is there a most logical cause for this? I am assuming it is fuel injectors, wires or plugs.

Thanks

Eric- do you know the specific codes 0170 0173 etc. If you do, that would be helpful to diagnose the problem. Jeff

Change the resistor plug connector under each of the 3 coils.....
Check the plugs at the same time

Arthur,

Thanks for the advice on the spark plug connectors. Changed all 3 ($12.00) a piece. Car runs awesome, no hesitation, no bogging down. Good call !
