I'm confused about the maintenance light in the 99 C230 Kompressor. The car is a year old but only has 3000miles on it, and the little wrench light comes on saying 2000 miles. Is this right?? I thought the first maintenance is at 10k miles on these cars?

Flex service also goes by TIME so a car that is almost 1 year old needs service also. Check the owners manual & see that time (1 year) is part normal servicing.
