The steering wheel offset is a goof up, take it back and have it adjusted, it does not involve alignment. The pulling can be caused by alignment or a tire. One way to check is to switch tires, left to right side, and see if this changes the "pull". If it does change then it is a tire, which is not uncommon. Ed

thanks..., but tires were rotated, front-back and accross and it didn't help. when the alignment is being done the steering wheel is set in the center but when the car rolls it's off to the right.
help pleaese before i'll burn it.

When was the last time the shop had the
alignment rack calibrated? If the equipment
is improperly installed or poorly calibrated the final readout means nothing. Ask the last time they had a hunter technician in to inspect and adjust the alignment machine. If it's more than six months, ask for your money back and go someplace else.

We also have a '97 E320 and am not having any problems. These cars are touchy on alignment. I had the dealer align it twice and could not get it right, so I have gone to an independent alignment shop and they got it correct. My suggestion would be to change shops.
There is some discussion on cross rotating tires. I have had poor results by doing so and will only do it to correcttire pulling as you have described. With radials running true, I do strictly front to back.
My classic has bias ply tires and there is something to really gripe about. We forget what lousy handling truly is. Ed
