you're right about my aux air controller, I checked the ecu from the doner car and it is the same part number as mine so am assuming it will be fine. I've found out that two of the connections go to pins 3 & 4 on the ecu. I thought maybe there would be an advantage to upgrade to the later idle controller, was it changed due to a weakness with the controller I have.
