Nik,

You should take "Have Mercy" up on his offer to provide you with some good metal. It can be repaired. No car is ever compeletely beyond repair. Just keep on kicking...

Can you explain how that would work Jeff? I can't get a good perception of where that is located on the car by the pictures. Could sheet metal be used to bind that area together? He told me he think's it will be doable. But advised I should get that fixed sometime soon. I just have a hard time understanding how I would use the Cut in half body?

You would cut out the bad section and weld in the identical section from the donor car.

Is your Mercedes green? What is the paint code? I don't think we have ever seen pictures...

Well, The work has begun and I for sure needed the new engine,
"One of your connecting rods punched a hole right through the side of the block....so yep, looks like you definitely needed my engine haha"

So yes the work has continued on the car. I know some one you might disagree, But I'm feeling pretty confindent

Good news everyone, My car is running very well now. After a year my car is done. I have to wait 2 weeks to pay the rest of the labor and incidentals off. (my god It's such a tease knowing shes done but I still cant drive her.) I owe 695 on her. He said everything looks good But it needs some new shift linkage bushings (50 bucks parts and then labor). I told him I have exhausted all my funds for now but will bring her back in when I can to get that done.) So to everyone thanks for the suppourt its been a long wait. But not this tuesday the following one... Ill be driving her all day to no where just So I can drive.
