See my reply in your other thread. if you can't find a kit,look outside the box and talk to MG ,Austin or triumph parts places,they all carry bits for those carbs. The Stromberg Cdi carb was used right into the 80's on the W123 230 and gives plenty of power. No need to spend $800 on one carb from redline ( although i consider their twin carb units for the six to be great) .
You are wasting money trying to prevent fuel fouling by attempting to increase the spark.
Until you change the carb diaphragm you will still have the same problem.

Thanks for your reply. I did locate and receive the carburetor kit for my carb. You're right too, I did find some sources of the carburetor kit in the UK, but found a source in the US who was able to assist.

While the Pierburg isn't the original carb, it looks to be solid and worth working with until I can locate a solid original.
