Air/Fuel Mixture screw 1970 280SEL
Alright...I have been working off and on on my '70 280SEL. I have been slowly getting it back on the road, running in tip/top shape. I have gotten almost everything set correctly, but my engine is running way too rich. The thing is almost pumping gas out of the exhaust pipe. I know that I sound like an incompetent boob, but I just can't find the adjustment screw. I have searched all of the other posts on this and have gotten enough helpful information to tackle this time consuming task, but I have to find what I am looking for first. I would very much appreciate it if someone could either describe, or better yet post a picture of where it is. I thank you all in advance for any help you can give me.

I found the screw
Hehehe....I guess I just had to look harder. I found the screw and began making my adjustments. After the first one, it already sounded (and smelled) better. By tomorrow I should be driving in style. Unless of course I run into another something that keeps her off the road for another day. I definitely don't mind though....I just want her to be perfect by the 4th of July. If anyone has any questions or just want to give me some helpful hints though I would definitely be gracious. From reading and listening to what goes on on this board, I have been able to do things that the local places were stumped about. You guys do great work. Thanks a ton!!!
