Using the chassis for something else.

Or else I walked use three tools. Torch. Recip saw. And tractor.

However. No tranny present.

Replacing the brace is easy-peasey. The Sawz-all leaves a clean cut.

Realign the piece, I use short strips of 14 ga. as backer plate, clamp with vise grips, 5 minutes work with a wire feed and you're good to go.

Yeah.... But the tranny is not attached. So it's not too hard.

As well, I'm using a tractor to pull it. So up is easier.

Got busy this week. But all prepped. Headed down now to pull it.

Btw, the fan shroud is a mystery to pull. I had to take the radiator out first. That straight 6 is tight in there.

You don't need to pull the carb to get to the mount bolts, did a 280C a week ago.

True. The extension snaked through the linkages. It wasn't too bad. I'm working on pulling the harness now. I threw that in with the deal.

Cash in hand and motor gone. Thank for the advice. And thanks to the man who gave me the car. One step closer to my new business. Already online ordering plastic crates. Click, and..... 1000 dollars gone! Lol.
