THEORETICAL... can you turbo/supercharge an m110?
hey guys,
so this is completely theoretical and i would never consider doing it to my car but im wondering if it is possible to turbocharge or supercharge a m110 motor? i noticed that when the catalytic converter is out then there is a lot of space on that side of the motor. any thoughts?? |

Project W123 M110 Supercharger/Turbo | Mercedes-Benz turbo
http://forum.w116.org/mechanicals/turbocharged-m110-!!!!!/ Either way you need to go to fuel injection. The 4A1 won't handle the boost aspect.

Project W123 M110 Supercharger/Turbo | Mercedes-Benz turbo
yeah, these guys tried the supercharger first, and got about 320hp, and swapped to the turbo and got somewhere along 370hp, as far as i know its still up and running, and the videos ive seen they abused the heck out of it ![]() |

Loads of people have done this - some seem to have started with SLK (M111) superchargers but quickly move on to turbos as the boost from the superchargers doesn't suit their going back in time requirements...
...'ave a look on yew tooobe
