Is this chain properly closed? 87 300D (pl see photo)

Is this chain properly closed (87 300D)?
I kind of remember on my last three chains, the Chain Tool would "mash " the two pins on the Connection Link so that the heads of the pins would look chamfered like all the other pins on the Chain.
This time, all it looks like I did was press the female attachment link on the two pins of the male attachment link side without "peening" the heads of the pins.
I used a rented tool from Performance Products this time and not the one from the Benz dealer.
Yes, I sure used a lot of torque on the wrench with the Chain tool.
This may be adumb question, but it would be dumber not to get confirmation. Thank you very much.
