Should have taken pics - 81 300D Vacuum Pics?

Yeah, yeah, yeah . . . I know. But I didn't have a camera when I was removing the engine!

I've serached and searched. The diagrams in the sticky are helpful to a point, but my hoses are different colors than those specified. I've found some pics of other cars while searching the forum, but every configuration seems to be just a bit different.

So . . . if anyone has some photos of the vacuum layout of a 1981 300D that would be really helpful. I stared at those things for hours last night. I may resort to trial and error, but I'd so much rather get it right the first time.

Thanks,
Eric

This may help.

I wouldn't imagine building the vaccuum system from scratch in this car. I'm rebuilding my system one piece at a time. If these don't help, PM me and I'll try to take some pictures of mine.

Strange . . .

Wow, that's even more confusing! You've got some extra ports that are not connected to hoses on top of the valve cover, and it looks like some hoses that are sealed up by the firewall. Did you disable the central lock system or something? I'm curious too . . . what is that device with vac lines next to the air cleaner? Maybe this is a turbo car and I don't have that b/ce mine is NA?

Eric
