This would be a really fun little 240... 350hp on a 4speed manual and air bag suspension with a air tank.

Fresh coat of paint is the only thing id like to see. I cannot stand how many w123s are out there in that ugly dull white color!!
Wonder how long the differential will last if using 3/4 of that HP regularly.
Also would trade for something cool, I wonder if any consideration would be taken for a 240d with a 4 speed.

$22K should get you a matched set of hubcaps.

price is completely delusional. I couldn't even entertain that price with the extremely faded front seats and cracked dash! it saw way too much sun. that'd be a $4k car though realistically.

Here is a true rarity although I suspect it's not a real Crayford.

https://providence.craigslist.org/cto/d/1978-mercedes-280-ce-st/6416709701.html

Thinking about joining the club for $32 USD. There is apparently one (1) registered with the club which covers the whole world. Read a few other posts on other sites .... one claim is that there were 200 made ... 20 made .... 12 made per this CL poster ...

Post 123 Cabriolet

There's one of these not far from me ~ it's white and was recently towed from where it's been sitting to my buddy's Indie M-B Shop, the fuel system is full of dried gasoline, they tinkered with it a few days then the owner decided he's too cheap to pay to make it run so back into storage it went .

As a derelict it's worthless, maybe has some value if cherry and running .

Others have done the conversion but only Crayford is recognized as the real deal ... Sort of like AMG vs. all the other tuners out there.

Post 280CE Cabriolet

I don't know who made it ~ the quality was good, not a sawzall job at all .

It was very tired, bagged interior and chalky white paint .

I don't much like the M110 engine and as soon as I discovered the tightwads who own it are too cheap to take any sort of care of it nor sell it, I walked away .

I'm not a real Rag Top kinda guy anyway, I briefly thought about making it a Diesel .

IIRC it was a mid 1980's chassis with Kilma II .

Valve Adjustment Wrenches

Looks to be a fairly minty set of the ************** wrenches. No idea if it's a good price. No affiliation to seller.
