Does you OM606 knock when cold?

I can understand in the initial startup and moments after when starting up my '97 E300 to hear injector knock. But mine lasts for a while, until it throughly wamrs up it will knock at certain RPM's. I have been using the Stanadyne All Season formula for the past few tanks. Would a higher dosage help alleviate this problem or have no affect? Currently I add in 1/4 of the bottle when I fill up fully from nearly empty. Would increasing my dosage to half the bottle for my next top off help or add and create other problems? This it the blue bottle ofcourse. Any suggestions guys?
