Oil is oil, it gets dirty eventualy.

I find this thread entertaining, I don't know why people care so much. Who gives a crap if Joe never changes his oil in his old car.

It would be more entertaining if Joe bought a new CDI and tried to run the factory fill forever.

On the flip side, why should anyone care how often I change my oil? They're not paying for it.

I really don't think anyone does care, but it is amusing to watch this train wreck.

Sorta like watching Jerry Springer on TV, you know it's idiotic but it's still tempting.

In keeping with the theme of this thread:

:liar: My girlfriend changes my oil, and she is your girlfriend to. (picks up chair)

Your mama changes my oil! (throws chair, at Jerry)

The only legitimate concern is someone new will come along and actually believe all the troll droppings (not you). I would hate to see someone come here for real advice and end up trashing their engine because some clown was trying to make a point for their own reasons. Hopefully, most folks can tell when they're reading BS.

the good life

As a result of reading all these "don't change your oil" threads, I have decided upon the following course of action.

From now on, I'm gonna drink a bottle of whiskey every night, smoke 3 packs of smokes a day, and eat nothing but cheese burgers, pizza and ice cream. If I don't ever go for a walk, or see the doctor for a checkup, I'll still be absolutely fine.

How do I know this will work?

Because none of you guys can tell me exactly which day will be the day I croak.

It's brilliant! I feel better already!

Not only will we fail to determine the day of your death, but, lacking any confirming evidence from a doctor, we cannot even make the assumption that you are in failing cardiovascular health. You would be perfectly free to claim that you're health is not compromised in the slightest.

That works for me, but I don't think my wife is buying it (The health part, not the oil part).

Clearly, you've not mastered the convincing art of SRJ and 240J.

I gave up drugs at too young an age to achieve that level of wisdom.
