newbie with fuel system questions

Hi! Does anybody know if a fuel tank from a 83 300sd W126 will fit a 85 300d w123? Also, with the exception of the ALDA unit is the IP interchangeable from a 617.91 to a 617.95 ? Can I just install the Alda unit on the other pump ?
