late shift after gp replacement

Hello all, any help would be much appriciated.
Replaced glow plugs and relay on my 1990 300d. After a long learning process of having one of the gp harness leads grounded popping the strip fuse after gp replacement I can now start on cold days.
The problem now is have late hard shifts.
I Looked for any vacum lines knocked off or anything broken and none found. Checked the linkage and cable movement looks ok. The trans. shifted fine before these repairs.
Any hints or help would be great.
Thanks very much

Late hard shifts is too little (usually zero) vacuum making it to the transmission. If, as you say, you couldn't find any broken anywhere, then I am at a loss. But check one more time just to be sure you didn't snap a line that's hiding under something.

Yeah

You've just "Loosened" or Un-Adjusted a Vacuum Line or connection in your
project's Enthusiasm...(Hopefully,no "Cracks")
You'll find it!

Is it possible that the Vacuum line got pulled out or broke down by the transmission?

Thanks guys for the replies. Sorry didn't get back sooner, had to get to work.
I did go over all the vacum lines again and didn't find anything off or broken but will ck. at trans in the daylight.
Drove to work and the trans doesn't always shift late but always hard and it will stay in 3rd or 4th and not downshift. Well finally it did but it's very irratic and I was crawling at 45 mph getting on the highway. Once it got up to speed(65) it would hold it but not well. I'm at half power it seems or almost no power.
I'm remembering some 2003 Sprinters we had at work that had to be sent to the dealer for ecm/tcm reprograming or refresh. They did the same thing. Very low power and trans. shift problems. Is it possible I hurt the tcm or ecm when I had the direct short at gp harness?
When I disconnected the batt. for repairs does that ever require that I may need a ecm/tcm reboot per say?
The trans. worked great before this. Been a great car. The radio also says code and won't work now. Man whadido.
Thanks very much for the help.

ok guys I found it! Behind the air box was the vacum line pulled out of the tee.
Now the trans is back to normal. From stress to relief in one vacum line. Thankyou for the hints and help!
