how's $2500 sound for an 87TD with full maintenance history
I went over the history with the mechanic and it's amazing what's been replaced over the years. $22K in repairs at this shop!
 hood pad every 5 years? odd, but cool too!  front end new OE parts two years ago, it's yellow palomino, so it matches my 83!  oh, this shop has a huge inventory of OE parts for 123/126's just sitting, I'm gonna make an offer on all that stuff too! wish me luck!

Assuming mostly rust free, good to decent interior, no head issue...$2,500 is a good price.
I remember when I got mine, these were super sought after at the time. This was probably 3 years ago. One just like mine in good condition with 280k miles went for $11,500. And another for $10,000 or so. Mine had lower miles and was in the same or better condition and I traded a truck I paid $4,000 for. But in light of the economy, these are no longer $10,000 vehicles.

still, a powerful 6cyl diesel wagon is a good thing, and it's the only year it was made, so I'm pretty stoked to find one.
