Well, I'm 52, retired from the Navy, have two diesel MB's (one wrecked) AND a diesel Jeep Liberty, and maintain a 4500 HP diesel generator at work.

But I've only gotten one warning - and that for inferring (not even outright saying) that a certain female politician was in essence a female dog.

Would what I said to the moron driving the Ford Explorer that t-boned my first 87, or to the tow truck operator that charged me $400 for storing it for for 3 days, count as an infraction?

Definitely not.

You can always insult a moron............they deserve it. Hell, you can shoot 'em for all I care.

Hmm. the rules are pretty straightforward, warnings and infractions are for due reasons. I hope NONE of you members ever get an infraction from me!
and, no, unless the ford driver in question was a member on the site, and you directly insulted the person here on the site... I"m pleased you said all you felt like saying.

That thought did occur to me at the time.

Crap, I didn't realize anyone was watching me at the time!

Although one time I did roll down my window and yell at a guy in a convertible, yakking away with phone to ear in the next lane, to "HANG THE F### UP AND DRIVE" just as the light turned green.

Not really. The easiest method is to insult someone. Many are too polite to do it directly ie "you're a .....whatever." Not to worry. A simple query attempting to clarify your observations will suffice. ex: Are you xxxxx or just xxxxx. If both options have negative connotations, even if one or both are likely true, you'll get at least 1 infraction. Sometimes well worth it.

I guess you weren't in Texas at the time. If you do that here, the person will probably hang up and reach for their 9mm instead.

Portable jammers aren't grumpy, too high tech and nosy. The real, old school grumps I know like to mind their own business (and want you to stay out of theirs).

If I asked an old school grump about the portable cell phone jammer, they'd probably say something like this: "Whatcha wanna go do that for? Just let tha stupid (censored) kill himself on the phone. Plenny of room for him where he's goin, cuz hell ain't even half full!"

how can we make sure its only (censored) that gets hurt?

EXACTLY!!! The jerk that t-boned my 87 admitted to my face he was too busy yakking on his cell phone to even notice my vehicle or even bother putting on his brakes (of course he didn't admit that to the cops), and was STILL yakking on his cell phone as he walked over to my vehicle to see if I was hurt immediately after the accident! The ONLY time that cell phone left his ear was while he was being interviewed by the cops.
