Part Hunt: '81 240D Prechamber

Fastlane shows out of stock and search didn't yield what I'm about to ask: Who has a good price and availability on prechambers for a 616? I buggered up the threads on one of my 240D's prechambers and need to replace it. All my other MB's are 617's so can't grab from one of them unfortunately. Thanks for any info y'all may have!

- Joe

Are you speaking of the Threads inside of the Prechamber that the Prechamber Puller would have threaded into or the Threads on the Prechamber Retaining Collar.
Also a pic would be nice.

Threads in the prechamber. I, ummm, used the wrong end of the tool with the incorrect threads. Too many projects at once and for some reason kept wrenchin' on it.

N/A 617?

Same prebucket as the early five-pot? Do you have a part number?

Jay.

If I remember correctly Febi still supply them - but I'd ring fast lane first may be they can get them for you after all

Well, everyone makes mistakes.
I tried to use an Impact Wrench on one of my Engine Shocks. What I did not know was that the Rod that goes through the Shock is also threaded into the Piston inside of the Shock.

The result was the Rod came out as did all of the Oil inside of the Shock. I ruined a good Shock.
