It couldn't be on anything older than a 1998 1/2 Dodge Ram since the VP44 wasn't introduced until then. Either way you can have a 4-8mpg increase just on the way your drive it.

Thats not really a computer, its more or less a sensor/control board. A computer has a microprocessor chip of some sort. None to be found in a Klima.

I clicked on 240D. WOW!!!! I can gain up to 60HP. that would be 127 total HP . Who need a turbo on their 240 when all we need is this little electronic Gizmo.

Plus I`ll have money just falling out of my pockets.

Wow, between this, my hydrogen converter, my vortex and that magnet thingy I put on my fuel line, I'll have to stop every hundred miles or so to pump OUT the fuel that keeps accumulating in my tank.

They list them for El Camino's. Did they ever even make one with fuel injection?

I highly doubt these would do anything even in a vehicle that does have a computer controlling the air/fuel mix and such

FYI

In response to a query by several members of the forum, I actually followed up by contacting "GFORCE," the seller/advertiser of the fuel saving chip.
I requested to speak to the President of the Company when I was not getting any answers, only to find out that the ordertaker/salesperson who answered the phone IS the President of GForce.
After a lot of hemming and hawing, he finally provided me with the following information:

The chip will work or can only be installed on diesels that have been "retrofitted" with mid-late 1990's or newer equipment which would include the Air Intake Sensor, etc. Therefore, we cannot represent anything other than the following information:

The cost of such a retrofit is unknown;

The benefit of such retrofit is subject to scrutiny, (and in fact, many may see this as a step backwards in performance) this site does not endorse alterations to the original specifications of the MBZ diesel motors;

and, For the majority of diesel owners, this chip cannot be installed on their motor, as there is nothing to install it on; and

We have no information regarding the performance of such chip, therefore we can neither endorse nor condemn it.

This site makes no claims whatsoever as to the effectiveness claimed by the advertiser, and we are not directly responsible for any of the alternating ads that appear, and they are provided by a third party advertiser (Google).

Therefore, Buyer Beware (Caveat Emptor!!!!) and please research any claims of companies selling any aftermarket modifications. [/QUOTE]
