MUCK... after the ALL DAY LONG rainstorm... the area is quite soggy.
I got some shelves organized... moved a few items out of the yard into storage or onto the junk trailer, and cogitated about the mess some... back at it again today.

... reverse went out in my pickup today... kinda puts a damper on my plans for vehicle moving... I'll load up the hauler, and hook the trailer to it I guess... gotta see how many I can move many this way.
My helper had his roof collapse, so I went and helped him (he bought me breakfast and lunch for a change) we got it torn out, and prepped for sheeting install, then the little woman put in her .02 for ideas... we decided to get rid of the skylights, and finish the roof flat, then have a roofer put in proper skylights later. I'll start back on my place in the morning...

TIRED... my brother had the driveway blocked with a car, working on it's a/c of all things... figured I'd help him on the car... nice of him. apparently his boss's son's car had the compressor lock up, took out the alternator, and of course the belt. he asked me what to change in addition to the comp. in a 09 altima... I told him the hoses, and the condenser... and flush it, and the OT, and fresh oil, and a fresh charge of refrigerant... a whole 1.1lbs of 134... wow. 5 oz pag oil, I wonder if I'll get reimbursed for the refrigerant, the reclaim, the evacuation, or the time spent... oh, I discovered what happens to a kubota tractor when it's driven with no water in the cooling system... really cool sparks shoot out of the muffler...

do you still have either of your 300sd w126 cars? if youre willing to pull and sell the steering lock w/ vacuum port on either of them i'd be happy to one off you. you have to have the ignition key to remove it without drilling, so thats something to consider
