Really stupid euro headlight question......
Hi euro light owners,
Here's a really stupid question for you. I was routing the vacuum switch and tubing for my eurolights and I realized that I don't know where the vacuum gets connected to the headlight unit. Is it right above where the electrical connector goes? Thanks a lot for humoring me. Alex

DieselHead,
There is a little plastic nipple molded into the plastic structure of the lamp assembly. On my 190 I think it is between the fog and main lamp, or at the outboard end. I just don't remember particularly well, but I think the W123 units are built the same way. It is about half an inch long or so, and about the same diameter as the vacuum tubing. Hope this helps. Jim

There's this big cover that covers almost the entire back. The only nipple that looked like it might be where the vacuum get connected is right above the electrical connector. I just wanted to verify this with others who have the same lights.
Thanks. Alex

Above the headlight connector there is a small hollow grey protrusion. It might be hard to see with the light installed.

Some euro lamps did not have the vacuum adjusters.
