Did postmortem on my original engine...
Looks like at some point in the past main crank bolt didn't get properly torqued down. It's a 27mm bolt that holds the front pulley. Also there is oil in the cooling system that might have something to do with the overheat that occurred after losing the pulley. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Placed an order here for all the gaskets but the sales guy wasn't on top of his game and this is my first 617 "rebuilt", I ended up with only 70% of seals I need.
Who do I ask for when I call back to get the rest? You know the guy that is... "not only a representative, he's also a member". ![]() |
