Last two fuel ups for me around here were @ $1.85 and $2.24
Premium is around $2.73 so diesel is winning by a significant margin right now.

You guys are killing me here ! .
I recently drove to Arizona and the fuel is much cheaper there the *instant* you cross the state line... Just to - day I was looking at a Sinclair filling station and the Diesel was #3.95 / gallon, most stations I use around So. Cal. it costs $4.49 +, I even see $5 / gallon now and then .

It depends on the Propel station ~ many are still over $4 / gallon .
I use the one in Arcadia and two in the South Bay area ..... It turns out that fungus does indeed grow in it too dammit .

I recall the good old days of Spring 2017 when I bought my SDL - it was my introduction to ProPel HPR - went for about $2.75 a gallon. I was pretty sure it wouldn't last. I still like the stuff and I'm in the hotbed for the stuff - one station a couple miles from me and on my normal route, 2 others in the East Bay on my occasional route.

Time to bump the thread…
Last week fuel prices spiked over $3.00 here… went from 2.99 on Thursday to 3.49 at the bargain station I frequent… this week it seems to have dropped a bit to $3.29in some places… gas war style. RUG is around 3.19 Is this the new normal? Just a spike from heating oil use? Additive for winter fuel mix spike… who knows. This thread creeps ever closer to the 20 year and 1500 post mark, provides a cool track record of fuel prices over the years.

Prices vary across Canada. Best prices are at Indian reserves if you live near one. Where we live in Ontario, diesel is cheaper than regular gas, but still expensive. Up about 17% over past summer.
Regular - US$4.37/USgal (143.8c/l) Diesel - US$4.25/USgal (139.6c/L) Using 0.81 as exchange rate Our gas prices in Ontario include 6.6c/litre carbon tax. We will mostly get that back in a rebate from our federal government. If we use natural gas for home heating, it also gets taxed (But still a lot cheaper than electric heating) In the end with the rebate about a break even for most families.

....At the pump .
It's been over $4 / gallon for Diesel or RUG for months now, the price used to slide back down after August every year but no longer ~ prices have gone _UP_ in the last two weeks in So. Cal.

I cannot imagine the cost of living in many places… NC fuel is high enough for me… i however, doubt it will remain here… next summer I expect it will top 4.00. If not this winter.
I drive a fairly efficient Sprinter van for work, but I’m up around $200/week in fuel now… I have had my gas card with a $300limit for 15 years now, and it is nearly a weekly payoff now, when it used to take a month… I have informed my office manager to let customers know there will be a $.25 per mile for fuel increases now…

Not enough people think ahead until they're slapped in the face .
I had to move constantly as a child and young adult so I became fixated on buying a house, in the end I wound up with my crappy little Termite farm , er :classic bungalow in the Ghetto, it's O.K., beats the trailers I sometimes lived in in the 1960's and I'm patient, my neighborhood is slowly pricing out the druggies and bad folks . My long range plan is to have it paid off by the time I die so my grand daughter gets a free house in a quiet neighborhood . Fuel prices were fine until the gop deregulated them, same as everything else they deregulate, the rices shoot up, never down as they always claim before they deregulate . I'm so conservative I have square corners but they make it hard these days .
