We also now have renewable / bio Diesel Fuel so I'm sure that has something to do with it .
Within the 1st week of 2023, deez jumped by 50¢ or so, never announced, but newsom on the news (while boasting about his new laws). Only once, then news media quickly dummied up about it, good lap-dogs that they are.
I spent a bit of time looking for any explaination. Just newsom saying 'I'm raising the price of diesel 50¢ a gallon'. that was the end of it, , , ,

What gets me is, 100 yards away from my chosen station, other side of the freeway, deez is 80¢ MORE per gal. Only bio deez around, locally.
the cheaper one, my choice, is bio deez, (works fine in my cars), but its still about 50¢/gal more than gas

Michigan, metro Detroit.

Diesel from $3.16 - $4.75 USD.

Depending where you fuel up.

Smile Uh, oh.......

Well ;

This isn't the forum for politics .

I'm a Californian and will remain here until I'm forced out by $ or something .

So far I'm quite happy with the big picture, all those who don't like California are invited to leave and enjoy other states .

Nothing is perfect but we're pretty God damn close .

It's interesting to see diesel becoming cheaper than gasoline, especially with recent fluctuations in fuel prices. This trend might be partly due to various factors like supply and demand dynamics or shifts in market conditions. A warmer winter could be contributing to lower heating fuel demand, which can also influence diesel prices. Enjoy the savings while they last, and keep an eye on future price trends as market conditions continue to evolve.
