Diesel hasn't dropped in a while here either. Cheapest diesel in the area is still hovering at $1.769. Usually diesel fuel costs somewhere between unleaded plus and premium in this area.
Around here, premium gas is down to $1.559 for Mobil 93, $1.639 for Texaco 93, or $1.539 for BJ's Wholesale Club 93. My car seems to like Texaco...

Out this way....diesel is 40 to 50 cents cheaper than premium gasoline, which is about $2.30

Cheaper still...
There's a place down the road from me in Fayetteville NC that has it for $1.49, and prices are dropping at other stores too.
'Bout damn time! Still, not as bad as it is for that poor bastard in Malibu. I think I'd smuggle gas in from Mexico at that price.

Fuel prices are coming down , here , at last . ( South Island NZ )
Regular petrol is $0.979c /litre , down from $1.159 /litre a month ago Diesel is $0.579 /litre , down from $0.799 /litre a month ago .

Bought some diesel yesterday in rural Mississippi for $1.25. Conoco (and yes, it was road use, the farm diesel is down to $1.08 here). In the Capitol City, it is still around $1.56.

The lowest price I could find in Southern California is $1.53.9 for #2, but I've seen it as high as $1.90 in some places.

My favorite station has been holding steady for some time now at $1.449/gal, but they have $1.499/gal posted on their big sign. Go Figure.
When is the Iraqi war-booty oil going to start kicking in? Diesel hasn't gone down much this summer like it normally would in warm weather. Maybe the war/peace effort is soaking up the supply. Ken300D
