The Flying J at I95 exit 100 Northeast/Rising Sun has diesel for $2.27. Best deal I've seen around here.

Cheers,
Bill

I've never seen anybody even come close to the Flying J off I-295, exit 2, at the south end of NJ.

Typically $.40 less than NY.

Diesel fuel costs

Diesel in MIchigan is $2.39 a gallon, gas is cheaper but fluctuates from $2.13 to $2.33.

It's just about ready to happen again - although at a much higher level than when we started tracking.

Putrid MBTE-laden foul gasolene: $2.59/2.69/2.79 gallon in the three grades.

Mother Earth's Pure Sweet Diesel: $2.59 gallon.

By Labor Day gasolene will probably exceed $3 per gallon with diesel around $2.75.

Where do you get that info? I haven't seen any news on this but it would be welcome.
My friend owns a gas station and says diesel may be headed higher, unless Calif is different that the East coast or something.

Diesel, in the North Bay Area, is hovering between $3.19 - $3.39/ gallon. It is higher than premium gasoline. Valero, in Benicia, is selling premium gas for $2.97 and diesel for $3.39.

While reading the business page today a story leaped off the page at me. It stated that many who follow the business say that diesel will be going much higher, perhaps to $4 a gallon by next summer. This is due to refiney capacity, demand and, of course, the price of oil. I hope they are in error.

I keep hearing the same thing, that fuel is headed much higher. High demand is part of the reason.
This could push us towards a recession, as higher fuel prices will be passed on to consumers because of delivery costs. These costs haven't been seen to the degree we are talking about.
Are you ready for $2 for a head of lettuce?
Higher UPS surcharges and USPS will have to raise the price of postage? Airlines will raise fares again. Delta Airlines will be bankrupt for sure.

New Prices posted here in Grand Rapids:

Regular: 2.79, Midgrade: 2.89, Premium: 2.99 Diesel is between 2.55 and 2.74 depending where you go around here....its 2.60 at the station around the corner, I need to fuel up! I have about 2-3 gallons in my tank...

Van: PARKED. $3 a gallon means it won't be moving anytime soon.
